Time Is A Thief

TIME IS A THIEF
Well time is a thief it wasn't long ago
that you were standing by me at the picture show
we paid for us and we went inside
and we found two seats in the back to hide
not five minutes in and you're on my skin
i opened up the door and let you in
we tried to be quiet to hide our sighs
but we couldn't keep up our drunk disguise no longer
Then out in the streets in the pouring rain
running through the old graveyards reading names
we were both too young but felt so old
and we were both too coy to do as we were told
and as we sang along to each others bad songs
we were carried away to a place we thought we'd stay
but who stays that way?
oh oh oh
Now we change our minds like we change our shirts
and we try to disguise all the pain and the hurt
we are both too young to feel this old
and the time has come to unravel, unfold
so its back in line at the movie show
and to the old graveyards fighting to drag us down
down below

In Your Sound

IN YOUR SOUND
when was last i drowned?
when was last i fell in the sound of the lust that you make,
and the hearts you make pound...
of the touches you take,
and leave once they've been found...
all of the beautiful hearts that you break,
even them breaking's a beautiful sound
when was last i drowned, in your sound...
you drown in your own voice.
Each time you say my name i hear it come choking out of you and i'm already licking my lips, hungry.
All of those broken hearts will heal of their wounds, but will i still be left hungry, unsatistfied?
Will i be left behind to lick my own wounds, to feed on my own longing, to recieve my own touches...alone?
To echo the beautiful sounds i make only to fall upon my ears and not yours?
The silence is deafening without your voice to fill in the empty spaces of our longing...the growl sand the cries.
The mind numbing drone of our heartbeats to fill in the darkness like bees looking for their queen...those are the sounds where i wait for you.

Criminals

CRIMINALS
So let’s groove and get high
I have changed my life
We get along a while
Who do you think we are now?
I give my time
I give my home
I give you everything
And nothing at all remains the same
Bad news in my hands
I wanna get out
See you in a foreign land
They all seem to know
We’re not criminals
We’re just the haze
I’m trying to jump in the time
Just making them bitches hate me
We’ve only got ourselves to blame
I remember it from the start
And while the world is changing us
We’ve gotta go where we can shine
I know it’s ok
Through nights of summer rain
We drive in the wind
And nothing at all remains the same
With guns in our hands
If it’s all a lie
Your faith shall rise
Then we’ll start to cry
But we’re not criminals
-we shoot the stars from above-
We’re just the haze
-we shoot the stars from above-
I’m trying to jump in the time
Just making them bitches hate me
And while the world is changing us
We’ve gotta go where we can shine
I give my time
I give my home
I give you everything
And nothing at all remains the same

Food For Worms

FOOD FOR WORMS
when i'm laying dead and gone
feed me to the fire
please just do as you are told
burn me up like mad desire
and in heat i'll come to you
hands and breath above your head
in your dreams i'll come to you
you'll forget that i am dead
when at last i'm dead and gone
pour a drink for me
lay awake until the dawn
drinking wine for me
and in the fuzz i'll come to you
when you're drunk and spinning round
i'll touch your lips and sing to you
and lay with you when you fall down
i'll haunt you, taunt you
whisper your name
i'll thrill you, chill you
please do the same
when i'm ashes dead and gone
keep me in a box
don't throw me into the sea
keep me under lock and key
and when you're ashes like i am
they'll lock us up inside together
when the air grows colder still
they'll feed us to the golden heather
when we're spirits dead and gone
we'll be more alive
we will hum our spirit song
until we cycle back alive
and in out mothers wombs we'll come
wet and shiny, born of lust
you'll find me or ill find you
together we'll return to dust

Like A Dancer

LIKE A DANCER
I don’t wanna be the one
Nothing’s gonna bring me down
But when my heart is on fire
And the moon on the rise
She comes over me
And she won’t save me
When she’s happy
And the ground cracks under you
When she’s happier
When she’s happy
She moves like a dancer
When she’s happier
I forget what is out there
Though no one can feel our pain
When the night becomes pale
And the day turns to grey
She’s the summer wind
She’s the rolling sand

This Infected Heart

THIS INFECTED HEART
heartbreak over handlebars
bleeding lips and battle scars
she's the tongue that pets me
she sings to me,
disinfects me
tripping over gaping wounds
knitting up in her cocoon
she's the needle sewing
her veins are thread
red and glowing
can you hear her bleeding noise
she's the silence you despise
pull your ears and tremble
hide the needles and the thimble
she's the eyes reflected
in your mirror
glass, protected

Siren's Call

SIREN'S CALL
I eat my words and I drink yours
Till the morning comes
Outside the wind still blows
I hear the siren’s call
Don’t you see me, I loose my head
I don’t wanna play your stupid game
Because I fall and I fall
I hear the siren’s call, the siren’s call
I have tried so hard to forget
These pictures on the wall
The night is drawing away
I hear the siren’s call
Now I feel I need to move on
To wave goodbye and get out at dawn
Someone is calling me home
I hear the siren’s call -the siren’s call-
We went too far
We went too fast
All together
I slither down
Beyond the bounds
Am getting ready to return
Shadows and scars, my own protection
I cannot face the situation
I didn’t mean to hurt you
The sun is red in the sky
I have packed my bag
Because I fall and I fall
I hear the siren’s call –the siren’s call-
We went too far
We went too fast
All together
I slither down
Beyond the bounds
Am getting ready to return

PHOENIXES
Put your head on my shoulder
All is gone to be fine
Don’t forget we’re together
On the way to the ocean
On the way to the sea
Put your lips close to my lips
It’s not a very long way
Take a deep breath if you can
However far we look
It is always the same
Run away through this window
Run away from this stage
And forget all the phoenixes
Burning up in your head
In the light of the full moon
Fire covers our room
Pick your feet up off the ground
I can’t stand any sound
But I keep my head down
Run away through this window
Run away from this stage
And forget all the phoenixes
Burning up in your, burning up in your head

NEEDS TO KNOW
you promised a secret show
said nobody needs to know
but now that we're all alone...
tonight
come to the microphone
but turn the power off
'cause nobody needs to know...
you promised to hide me here
where nobody else can hear
but now that we're all alone...
make good on...your word...

Nothing For Love

NOTHING FOR LOVE
Leave your family
When you think you’ve failed
There is no way
To change everything you’ve made
Coz love is nothing that can be undone
When the skin is cold and when the rime is gone
I’ve done this once
Images fade
I don’t remember why
I was so afraid
Woman, maybe you come to an end,
Your body is tired to fight
And your stomach is calling
I’ve done this once
Images fade
I don’t remember why
I was so afraid
Leave everything don’t hesitate
If you want to live
A life with no regrets
Leave your family
When you think you’ve failed
There is no way
To change everything you’ve made
Coz love is nothing that can be undone
When the skin is cold and when the rime is gone
I’ve done this once
Images fade
I don’t remember why
I was so afraid
If you don’t know
What is your goal
Where you have to go
Love is nothing
When you give up
When you sleep

My Head Machine

MY HEAD MACHINE
A million red lights down there
Fading in the distance
Try not to pull it apart
I don’t wanna die
And leave it behind
I look with an old man’s eyes
Walking on random paths
Something’s just about to break
Something in the brain
It creeps along the cells
I lay my heart on the line
-My head machine-
My body’s running on dry
-It’s bleeding-
When it all comes down on me
Exhausted from breathing
Without your arms around me
I hear no beating
I’m standing with my dreams
I lay my heart on the line
-My head machine-
My body’s running on dry
-It’s bleeding-

CHEAP DOWN GRADE
Action starts
Back at 8
Hold the lights
Cheap down grade
Cross me up
One more time
Gasp and suck
Metal sparks
Distant calls
Fat dog face
On the walls
Smell of flesh
Cheap down grade
So who cares?
Come on him
Lid blows off
Weak machine
Not enough
Distant skies
In our mouth
And black out
Silver smokes
Locker rooms
Twisting soul
Fuck you all
Blown up brains
On the walls
So who cares?
Fat dog face
Cheap down grade

Action ends

Your Hands
04:15
|

My face looks old
And no trial at my door
No wine no bread
Only petals on the floor
I remember your hands
So let’s walk outside
The air grows heavy tonight
Your breath in my mouth
Does it make me feel sad?
I remember your hands
My face looks old
And I still see you running
Dead leaf dancing
With your feet, slowly
I remember your hands

PLAY
Who will tell the story of the day you were born?
Who'll lift your sunrise when you're lost and forlorn?
When you're rocking back and forth in the storm..
Who was i tomorrow, who will i be yesterday?
I am a lonely cycle with no friends to play
Come out and play, come out and play today
Who will the stories of the grays on your head
Who will make the future when you think you are dead
And all this was just in your head...

Gasoline

GASOLINE
My tears run dry and you wonder why
I end up hurt, I am down to the bone
Watching the smoke forming shapes in the car
There is no time to do what must be done
I just keep on waiting
Let the Devil come dancing
We have to do it sometimes
Gasoline on fire
Reaching for the stars in your eyes
The endless wheel goes round and round
An endless flow of burning coals in my hands
I’m tired with no ideals at all
I have medicine, you shouldn’t have to sell your soul
I just keep on waiting
Let the Devil come dancing
We have to do it sometimes
Gasoline on fire
Reaching for the stars in your eyes
The wind is turning the tide
Just passing by
It’s just time to pay the price
We have to do it sometimes
Gasoline on fire
Reaching for the stars in your eyes
We have to move on sometimes
Learning to fly
No more road to take us back

DROWN ME
Pardon me
Can you spare a little time for me
Can you spare a little wine for me
I don't want to stand on my feet no more
Follow me
Where the river feeds the sea
Put me in the water, drown me
I don't want to stand on my feet no more
Don't want to stand on my feet
Don't want to stand on my feet
Don't want to stand my ground no more
Pardon me
Can you spare a little time for me
